THE SERVICE AS INSTRUMENT OF CHANGE - Sunday April 12, 2009.


Ephesians 2:10
"For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do."

Ephesian 4:12-13
12- "to prepare God's people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up
13- until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ."

Luke 10:27
"He (Jesus Christ) answered: " 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind'; and, 'Love your neighbor as yourself."

Matthew 5:44
"But I (Jesus Christ) tell you: Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you,"

Matthew 20:26-28
26- "Not so with you. Instead, whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant,
27- and whoever wants to be first must be your slave—
28- just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many."

CONCLUSION
SERVING IS ONE OF THE PRIVILEGES THAT GOD HAS GRANTED US AS HIS CHILDREN. ALSO IT IS THE DUTY THAT WE SHOULD FULFIL WITH GOD BECAUSE WE ARE HIS SERVANTS. THE SERVICE TO GOD CONCRETE IN THE SERVICE WITH LOVE TO OUR FAMILY, FRIENDS, ENEMIES. IN THE CROSS JESUS SHOWS US HIS LOVE TO US SINFULNESS AND LOVE IS SERVICE.
